About Me

Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. With a background in psychology and a Graduate Degree in Social Work from New York University, I have been making a positive impact in the field since 2007.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working in various settings, including Shorefront and Menorah Manor, the Department of Children and Families, Empath Health with adults and pediatrics, and through School Social Work. I also serve as a consultant for Ways for Life and as a Technical Assistant with Silver Linings Institute.

My expertise lies in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and I have received training in Positive Psychotherapy (PPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe in the power of positive psychology and encourage my clients to leverage their own strengths to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.

In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, I have also facilitated a unique boxing therapy group, providing clients with an alternative way to channel their emotions and build resilience. I also offer support through Walk and Talk Therapy when appropriate, combining the benefits of physical activity, the environment and therapeutic dialogue.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I find joy in reading, kayaking, and spending quality time with my family. My personal interests not only enrich my life but also contribute to my holistic approach to wellness and my ability to connect with clients on a deeper level.

If you’re seeking compassionate support, guidance, and the opportunity to harness your own strengths for personal transformation, I am here to help. Feel free to reach out to me at rykuchlelcsw@gmail.com and take the first step towards a brighter future.
